i love this wedding. it’s fun, and pretty, and happy. it was a strong 90 degrees that day, 100 percent humidity and everyone still had a ball, no was was sweatin it ;)
i could say more but this time around i really think the photos say it all.

yesterday i told every one to have a great week and then i realized i’ll be coming at cha all week long with blog posts. all month really! lots of great stuff in the edit folder, sessions on the schedule and three more weddings this season.

alyssa & derek’s wedding was all about the right things. everyone had a piece in making it truly special. the altar was made by the groom, the ceremony was performed by ben, alyssa’s brother and the wedding was held at the home of alyssa’s mother. it was was a sweet and sincere ceremony about love and trust and family. i could hear sniffles from the guests throughout the whole ceremony. it was perfect.

i hope you all had an amazing weekend filled with everything maine. i have been working away at my little home office and i the way i know this job is perfect for me is because every time i edit wedding photos i get all choked up. it’s such a rewarding thing to be part of such a special day and after seeing couples like jamie and josh, you can’t deny that true love exists.
these two saw each other before the ceremony and we did a special first look for the two before the whole group joined for photos. it was a beautiful evening in Naples and we had a great time before hopping on the Songo River Queen. Here are some of my faves…

on that note I am so so happy to share part one of Alyssa and Derek’s garden wedding in Kennebunkport. Alyssa was so sweet while getting ready for her day as she kept saying “i just can’t believe it!”. i was able to capture some really special moments while they were getting ready with their friends and family and I’m excited to share…
