Hi there!

I have an awesome wedding to post today. I love these two and clearly I am obsessed with their little girl since she is in every photo! Can not get enough of her adorable little face. I had so much fun with this wedding, from our date night together in the old port, to our fun engagement session in the kitchen and I really just love the photos. Here just some of my favorites from their day…

So fun! It’s going to be a great season and I have two more weddings ready to post soon. Lots to come.

It’s a new wedding season my friends and I am going to start posting like crazy. It feels good to be back in the game again! My first wedding of the year was in North Woostock, New Hampshire and it was beyond fun. The dance floor was packed all night long and I totally got in on the action with a little green hat and a “who’s your paddy?” button. That’s right! These two were adorable, their family & friends were so great, and the whole day was something awesome to be a part of.  It was great to have Bret Labelle come along as my second shooter and we have some cool stuff coming up soon. Like an amaze photo booth..yuuuuup! More to come on this. Tell yo friends! It will be ready for booking next week.

So back to one of the best weddings ever…here are some of my faves…

I’m pretty sure I’m coming back with more faves on this one. So many! I’ll be back soon with a Gatsby themed wedding that was to die for.

happy thursday, feels like friday though. but it’s ridiculously nice out today and i’m going out to get some excercise. i recently got some insane inspiration by an aussie photographer i follow on instagram and her healthy fruit based diet. while i’m not going all fruit i am on a major kick and looking forward to change and the benefits coming my way. i’ll plan to update you along the way on this blog and instagram and maybe i can inspire you.

the photos on the blog today are so adorable. last year at this time julia was a baby and now she is a peanut, running around with her dora backpack on. it’s too much. we met at pineland farms this past weekend, which is very quickly becoming one of my fave spots to shoot. jen, chris, and julia are such a cute family so of course the photos are likewise. take a look…

so enjoy this day and the weekend i’ll be back next week with wedding photos.

burrr it’s chillay out there and in here. i have about 15 layers and a hat because turning the heat up high just seems so, hm…extravagant?  ha! the aspiring artist in me is getting real frugal, real quick. i have also not yet winterized the window that is quite drafty and directly next to my desk. it’s on this week’s to do list,  along with a new health kick, a little studio space setup (whaaaat?!), and lots of editing.

on the blog today we have the spugnardi family for a little photo shoot before the holidays. it’s a really special time for them before there newest family member arrives and I was able to get some great moments of them at their home on this sweet november day.

i hope you had a great weekend and had a little time to stop and give some thanks for all the veterans, maybe even caught a parade. this weekend I actually photographed my last wedding of the season and most likely my last portrait session of the season too. it’s been such a good year in photography for me. definitely feeling thankful :)

on the blog today i have lynne & kiran’s part two on the blog. we had so much fun taking photos throughout portland with these guys. they are so fun, photogenic, and just cool.  bret labelle assisted me on these and i have to say we make such a great team. i’m psyched that we are already looking at four weddings together next season. on to the photos of lynne & kiran’s wedding at grace in portland, me

have a great weekend and i will talk to you soon.

oh hi there it’s me again.

i’m pumping non-stop photos out of my little office these days. so october is over and on to november and i’m looking forward to a new month. I’m one of those people that looks at a new month as a chance to make some changes, try something new, reset. onward & upward!

and on too these photos. i looove them. nick and amanda have been together 7 years! she patiently waited for him to pop the question and the last photo in the series just about sums up her excitement to say “yes”! i am so excited for them and to be there along the way since my cute boyfriend is nick’s childhood bestie and best man. awww. it’s just cute.

what i love about engagement photos is that you can actually see the love between two people…have a look see ;)

have a great weekend! it’s the new moon on sunday and a fortune cookie that told me that luck will visit me in the next new moon! so something good is on the way..i feel it ;)

happy halloweeeen everyone. i have been soo busy this year that i haven’t been able to be as festive as usual, but i do plan to hone my thriller dance skills and eat some peanut butter cups today. i thought about going to the mall and takes photos of the kids in their costumes, but then i thought that may be a little creepy, and not the good kind of halloween creepy ;)

moving on to the good stuff. lynne & kiran were married at Grace in Portland two weeks ago, an old church in portland rehabbed into an amazing restaurant, bar, and wedding venue. if you haven’t been yet, it’s a must. i brought along the super talented bret labelle as my second shooter and i must say i think we make a pretty awesome team, i’m so looking forward to shooting a bunch next year together.

lynne is a beauty, kiran is a riot, and here are my faves while we were getting ready for the ceremony.

happy haunting my friends and i’ll be back soon with more photos.

every year i get together with these guys to do the family portraits. our shoots are always a little crazy with lots of people and pets and i really always have a blast. it even gets better since paul and abraham have started the funky bow brewery & beer company at the farm, where the beer flows like, well really good beer! check them out.  i love the photos from this year and we are going to put together an amazing little christmas card. maybe you are lucky enough to know this awesome bunch of people to find a card in your box in the next few months, and for others this little sneak peek will have to do :)

i’m coming back today or tomorrow with an awesome downtown portland wedding that i’m dying to share.

today i sat at my desk and edited all day. i actually loved every minute of it, which is good because it looks like i’m going to have a bunch of these days in the next few weeks. this particular edit session was all about bryan and chloe. the were married in an adorable church in saco, maine where her father officiated the ceremony. this was definitely one of those weddings where i was tearing up behind the camera. this was also the kind of wedding that fell on a day when the foliage was out of control and just perfect for our group photos. a natural backdrop doesn’t get much better. here are my part two faves from bryan and chloe’s day…
