Hi friends,

I have been missing you so! I know I have been a little mia on the blog lately but I’ve been so so busy on the edits and I wanted to get all the photos out to my sweet little clients before the holiday season. Buuut since I’m catching up now, I have a lot of blogs coming at you. Then I’m working on website updates, the 2014 favorites portfolio, submissions to some fave wedding mags, it’s like santa’s little workshop up in here…minus the cute little elves.

Anywho, on to the photos of love and engagements. I met Laura and Ryan at Willard Beach and Spring Point a few weeks ago for our shoot and we had some amazing weather. These two are super fun and I really loved my session with them. I can already tell the wedding is going to be a blast! So here are my faves from my engagement session with Laura and Ryan…

hello again my lovies. I have missed you so!

Over the past few month i have been doing a lot of traveling for my day job and a lot of shooting for this job. So I have been quite the busy bee and I have a bunch of blogs to catch up and share with you. With my wedding season complete I get to start working on albums, editing, marketing and big plans for the 2015 season. I also plan to submit a few of my weddings from the past season for publication. I’ll keep you posted on all that too. Lots to come from nc photography!

Shea and James are getting married next year and I’m so excited that they chose me to photograph their wedding. They are just cool and nice and sweet and I know we are going to have such a great time together at the wedding! We met up at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth recently for their engagement photos and here are some of my faves…

Good morning friends.

I hope you are happy and healthy this cool Monday morning. I have to say I’m sad to see the warm temps and sun go but it’s a perfect time for transition and changes for me and maybe even a little quiet time…but I doubt it. In the past week I went from the top of the mountain in North Conway to shoot a wedding, to Minneapolis, MN to run a conference, to York, ME to shoot another wedding, and it looks like I’ll be in Philly this week. Life changes and doors open when you let it and I have realized that life’s really to short to sit in one spot and not walk through those doors with the right people by your side. Ya know?

So this couple, this wedding, and this venue is just amazing. It was such an event for all the guests I was kind of jealous and wish I were invited, ha. Bret came with to second shoot on this one too and we had a blast as usual. Every detail was perfect and fun and I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorites. Here are the faves from Caitlin and Drew’s wedding at The Barn at Hardy Farm in Fryberg, ME.

Here’s to Caitlin and Drew and Bruno too! And all the doors they will be opening and walking through together in their lifetime.

Hello my loves,

How are you? Life has been crazy lately and definitely a juggling act but the one thing that always keep me grounded is my photography. It fills my heart to photograph all those in love on such a special day. I try to give my photos the feeling and emotion of the day, catching all the little moments that make it so special. I really try to get and give the photos that I would want myself. So your wedding is all about me. Juuust kidding.

Part two of this special, amazing, fun, & beautiful love fest is on the blog. This is the one I photographed, while being a bridesmaid, with my awesome second shooter Samantha there to help. I’m proud of these all around. I couldn’t be happier to give this gift to Megan & Billy and I couldn’t be more excited that I’m actually in photos at a wedding and not just taking them. See again, all about me ;) No but really it’s all about them and I slightly over posted because I just couldn’t get enough. Their love teaches me how I want to love, and it’s pretty great. Here are my faves…

I had to do a triple take on that one! 2015..say whaat? I’m old, but I feel good. Like the song…and I’m corny like an old person too. Ha!

It’s that time again, back to school, and I still love the idea of going to get some new supplies for the office. Love me some stationary..are you with me??

Ashley is going to be a senior this year and I had a lot of fun with her and her mom, one of my co-workers at my lovely day job, Lise. They have a really close and fun relationship and it made these photos so much more special. I can’t wait to be a mom someday so I can hug and squeeze and love on my kids and get the same look on my face that Lise had the whole shoot. Hi guys!

I’m bouncing out of my seat to get these to you fast enough because I just love them so much. I’ve been laughing, crying, and just a mixed bag of emotions in my cubie working on the photos all day. Sshh don’t tell my boss :)

Ok so you may recognize one of those pretty little bridesmaids in these pics..it’s me! Ha..and I’ve honestly never felt prettier a day in my life. One of my forever friends married the greatest guy a few weeks ago and when she came to me last year to ask me to be in the wedding and photograph it, I did what any crazy person would do and said, Yes!

And I’m so glad I did. I loved every single second of it and was so honored to just be a part of it all. I had my lovely & wonderful cousin, and past assistant Samantha come along to shoot the guys, the ceremony, and all the stuff I couldn’t, and she did such a great job. Love you Sam!

Swoon! I can’t even take it. I can’t wait to post part two and I really want to do it all over again but this is the next best thing. Lots of love.

Hey gang!

I’m going to keep this short and sweet today because there are so many awesome pics from this wedding that I don’t want to bore you with my babble :)

This wedding was so great because it was like a little reunion for me. I went to high school with Steph and Ryan and all their siblings & friends. I got to say hey and catch up with a bunch people and best of all catch a buzz at the end of the night when I was done :)

This day was picture perfect, this wedding was beyond fun and I couldn’t be happier for these two!

Holy heat wave! After sweating it out all day editing these photos, I coming at you from my car in the parking lot of Mickey D’s. Stealing their internet while Time Warner fixes mine and cooling down in the ac with the pup. I could have waited to post them tomorrow but I just love these photos so much I wanted to get them out there today!

Caidra & Kris were prom king and queen together in high school. They even danced their first dance as husband and wife to the same song they danced to as king & queen. It’s the cutest story and they really are the cutest couple and so nice too. I really can’t say enough about how sweet they are along with all their friends and family but I think the photos tell the story on their own. Shout out to my killer second shooter Bret Labelle on this one too :) Here are the highlights of Kris and Caidra’s summer wedding…

Hi there!

I am working against the clock to get this post out before you hit the weekend. It’s finally going to be warm!! I’m shooting a wedding in Camden tomorrow and then I’ll be getting my tan on all day Sunday. It is long overdue for this pastey white bod.

For this wedding I was very lucky to meet this family and be a part of their day. It was just one of those weddings where you could feel the love and the meaning all throughout. I’m also very proud of it because I shot it solo and did not miss a moment! bam, love that. So here are my favorites from Becky and Woody’s spring wedding.

Holler it’s hump day, it’s beautiful out and i’m feeling like a million bucks today!

i hope you are too :) I went a little nuts on this post because there were so many favorites I just couldn’t narrow it down. I’m having a lot of fun with my photography now and feeling super inspired for the rest of the season.

I love this wedding because they made it personal & fun and planned plenty of time for photography! The best photos happen when they have they time to happen :) My partner in crime on this one was Bret Labelle, and once again he was the bomb. He manned the new photo wall and there will be a post coming soon on those faves. The booth/wall is now booking for weddings, events, you name it and I will hook it up.

So on to the photo’s of Gillian & Alex’s wedding in Wells. They are fun & cool and we just had a blast being part of their day…
